Kirstie initially began her Paramedic career working in Central London, she embarked on a higher-education teaching qualification and pursued a career as a Paramedic academic gaining a full time Paramedic lecturing role in 2013. She subsequently became Programme Lead for this Undergraduate Paramedic Programme.
She left this role to pursue further clinical aspirations and now works as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Primary Care, she is an Independent Prescriber and works part time as a Senior Lecturer in Advanced Practice she is a FHEA fellow. She has a passion for empowering new Paramedics to reach their career potential and progressing the Paramedic profession.
Jason has 13 years of ambulance service experience with 6 years as a University lecturer and post graduate lecturer in non-medical prescribing.
He is also a Independent Prescriber and works part time in primary care as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner. He has a PGCert in academic practice and is a FHEA fellow. He spent 3 years working as a specialist Paramedic for the hazardous area response team before moving into education.
He has a passion for technology enhanced learning and the development of Paramedic education.
